⚖️What This Is All About

For years, our peaceful community in Pacific Palisades has been disrupted by the constant noise of helicopter training taking place on nearby AG-1 zoned agricultural land owned by Kamehameha Schools — without the required Conditional Use Permit.

What should be a tranquil area filled with the sounds of birds, wind, and families enjoying their homes has instead become a training ground for helicopter operations that violate land-use regulations and disturb residents daily.

This isn’t about opposing safety or emergency preparedness — it’s about accountability, respect for zoning laws, and the right of our community to live in peace. The Department of Planning and Permitting (DPP) has confirmed that a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) is required for a Helistop, yet enforcement has been delayed because the violator is another city department.

We believe it’s time to stand up for what’s right — for our homes, our health, and our ʻāina. Together, we can restore peace to Pacific Palisades and ensure that future generations inherit a quiet, safe, and lawful community.
